Minimum Specifications

For basic functionality and simulation:

  • CPU: Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 (8 cores, 16 threads)
  • RAM: 32GB DDR4
  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3070 or equivalent with CUDA support
  • Storage: 1TB SSD
  • OS: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or Windows 10/11 with WSL2
  • Network: Gigabit Ethernet for multi-robot simulations

For optimal performance, especially with Isaac Sim and complex simulations:

  • CPU: Intel i9 or AMD Ryzen 9 (12+ cores, 24+ threads)
  • RAM: 64GB DDR4
  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4080 or higher for Isaac Sim
  • Storage: 2TB NVMe SSD
  • Network: Gigabit Ethernet for multi-robot simulations

Specialized Hardware

While not required for learning the concepts, the following hardware can enhance your experience:

  • Physical Humanoid Robot: Optional but recommended for real-world validation
